concerning sexuality

I wonder what the creators of Habbo Hotel really had in mind when they conceived the site. What is the overall purpose what what funfction does it serve in order to achieve it's purpose. For me I find that the site is a social site with a trendy liitle niche that has explicit and implicit sexual overtones. I would say abou 80% of the people I talk to end up taking the conversation to from the casual imformalities right to flirting, sexual inuendoes, or just a invitation to go to someones room to booba! This really creeps me out because these tiny little avatars suggest a "G" rated theme, with thier cartoon looks and bright colors but there seems to be something much more sinister going on in this hotel of fornication. jk. But seriously, I don't know if the people I'm talking to are teenagers or middle aged people and when I ask they could just as easily lie to me. If you go look at the user rooms, you can tell just by the names of them they are a place for some form of sexual interaction. Names such as "XXX Club", "Hot Singles" and "Horny Housewives" are the rooms with the most users in it. Sure you can go to some the general rooms Habbo suggests but the overwhelming majority of the users hang out in the "R" rated rooms. I just wonder if childrens parents are monitering this activity or the users in these rooms older people and if so then why wouldn't they just join a dating site or use like an aol chat room. Also I find that most of these avatars are dressed seductive or look to be young adults. This goes back to the media creating the norm so sex to kids growing up is so watered down that it isn't a big deal to them it's just another something they do.
